This new edition of the contest of short statement, it is of free topic but whose action must pass in the Bilbao´s Semana Grande.
The sending of the works is from 18th January to 28th February.

Aránzazu Hotels attended the inauguration of the stand of Basque Country in the fair FITUR, in Madrid.

The 38th Edition of the international tourism fair, FITUR 2018, which takes place from 17 to 21 January 2018, will once again host the world tourism industry, with the most complete exhibition of proposals and destinations of enterprises, organizations and institutions around the world.
FITUR is a global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets.
Inside the Plan of Tourist Actions for International Promotion programmed for the year 2017, Basquetour – Basque Agency of Tourism has foreseen to celebrate, in collaboration with the OET of Munich, two Days of Promotion and in GERMANY. These cities have been chosen by their excellent flight connection by Bilbao. Stuttgart on October 25th and Munich on October 26th.
Some representatives of the mentioned organizations will attend the events: Mr Alfredo Retortillo – Counselor of Tourism, Trade and Consumption of the Basque Government, Ms Maider Echevarria – Director of Tourism of Basque Government, Mr Harkaitz Millán – The Director of Basquetour and Mr. Álvaro Blanco Volmer, The Director of the OET of Munich.
The program for the event is directed to tourism professional agents, and the destination presentation will have following actions:
– Workshop with the principal tourist Basque companies. Aránzazu Hotels will show the functionality of the Abando Hotel to the tourist agents and the luxury of the Hotel Carlton in Bilbao; the wide offer of leisure and business at Hotel San Sebastian and the charming Hotel Los Agustinos.
– Presentation of destination. The Director of Tourism of the Basque Government, Ms Maider Echevarría, will make a detailed presentation of the destination.
The event will finish with a cocktail with the main ingredients of the Basque gastronomy.
From the 26th to the 29th September is taking place in Paris the IFTM-TOP RESA fair, one of the most important ones in Europe for the MICE sector.
For its 39th edition, IFTM Top Resa will gather all players of the tourism industry from 26th to 29th September 2017, in Paris – Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles, Hall 1. IFTM Top Resa is 31,000 professional visitors more than 1,600 brands. The fair offers a multi-target proposition with dedicated visitor programmes suitable for each segment: Leisure, Business, Mice.
At the heart of Paris, the world capital of tourism, this complementarity makes it possible to combine French and worldwide tourism offers in one unique venue.
Aránzazu Hoteles will be there, on behalf of Diputación Foral de Bizkaia.
October 9th at 7.15PM will be presented at Hotel Abando the new book of Salvador Robles.
The ” The Light of the Silence “ will be presented by Carmela Gaminde and Marta Urcelay. Also we will enjoy the music of Sister Moon, a pop-rock group.
Aránzazu Hotels takes part in a new appointment of M&I Private Forums, this time in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
The Forum will take place from August 29 to September 2 in format workshop. With an agenda confirmed of more than 52 meetings with the principal travel agents of Europe, we will promote the services of meetings, congresses and conventions of Aránzazu Hoteles’s different hotels. This professional appointment is focused on the MICE tourism: meetings, incentives, Congresses and Events.

El 1er Premio, ha sido para el relato “Kalimotxo” de Idoia Barrondo Etxebeste. Se publicará ilustrado por Kike Infame que también ha sido merecedor del premio especial que otorga la Compañía de Gargantúa.
El 1er Premio de micro relato se ha concedido a ”Katxi de vino” de Pepa Jiménez Calero que será ilustrado por Emiliano Sordo Fariñas.
